    Default New Tire Prep

I have recently purchased four new Hoosier Emod tires 3 D's and 1 A. I was wondering what all needed to be done before I put them on track. I.E. Do they need to be cleaned or are they good run as they are? I have never ran brand new Hoosiers before, always ran hand me downs from the neighbor that runs a modified. Do they need heat cycles? Do they need to be buffed before hand? Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Adam

Sipe the snot out of the A, then scuff it, just enough to take the manufacturing glaze off, then for the D's and the A both, hit them with diluted simple green and rinse them well with a powerwasher.

You can also lightly scuff the D's for a little extra initial traction, but they are soft enough that it wont be much of a difference.
