GASTONIA, NC – Carolina Speedway is proud to announce the official schedule for the 14th Annual Carolina Clash Skyler Trull March 14-15, 2014. The event held in the honor of Skyler Trull each March has become a fixture in the southeast over the last decade. Skylar’s father Larry is a crew member and cousin of veteran racer Doug Sanders. Sanders’ car carries the colors of the event each year. “The Skyler Trull race has turned into such a great show,” said Carolina Speedway’s Mark Gibbons. “It is so much more than a race; it’s a weekend of fun and events. Huge crowds turn out for the event and it’s definitely one we circle on the calendar every year.” The Skyler Trull Memorial will be held March 14-15, 2014 at Carolina Speedway. Friday night March 14th will feature a full night of racing. The UMP Modifieds will battle for 25 laps for a $1,200 to win prize. The Q2U BBQ Pit Four Cylinders and Tilley Harley Davidson Renegades will each have a $500 to win The Front Wheel Drive Hornets will have a $300 to win event. The track will be open for any racers that want to practice as well. Saturday night, March 15th will be a full program for the Carolina Clash Super Late Models with the main event being the $4,000 to win Skyler Trull Memorial. The SECA Late Models will have a $2,000 to win 30 lap events. The UMP Modifieds will once again be on hand but this time they will battle for a $2,000 to win show. Also on the card will be the fan favorite Domino’s Pizza Street Stocks who will compete for $500 to win. Pit gates on Friday night March 14th at 4:00 PM. Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 with hot laps at 7:20. Racing will begin at 8:00 PM. General admission tickets are $12, pits are $25. Saturday March 15th pit gates will once again open at 3:00 PM. Grandstands will open at 4:00 pm. Drivers meeting will be at 6:00 with racing at 7:00 PM. General admission will be $25 with pit admission $35. Two day tickets can be purchased also. General admission two day ticket is $32 and a two day pit pass is $50.
