    Default Lifters????

I just bought a set of comp cam lifters last year they have about 6 or 7 races on them but when its hot they give up just past the flag stand, But if its could the motor does good. What kind of lifters should I be running?? Any info would be very appreciated.

Lifters are probably ok. You need more spring pressure.

that's what we thought at first but I have double wound springs. and it runs fine in the could weather when I have more oil pressure but when its hot it falls on it nose at the end of the straight away

What did Comp say? I'd start there first. Assume it's a 2300 ford, collapsed lifter clearance should be .035-.045".
