    Default new to dirt

    I am running a tube chassismustang on a 1/3 mile low banking and am looking for a good starting point as well? was told set the car to ride height and put 40-60lbs of bite in it? my qestion is do i need to concern myself with the cross weight? I have run pavement for 15 years, never have i tried dirt!! Any advice would be appreciated thanks

    okay, the car is a tube chassis with a mustang front subframe and rack the rear is a 3 link with coil overs rf 300 lf450 5x8 coil srping, rr 175 lr 125 coil over springs. does that sound correct?

    To start I would go a lot stiffer on front springs, I run a 750# RF & 650# LF. Swap rear springs, heavier rate on LR, your rear spring rates look a little soft but should work. I run a stock susp. mustang & it works good.
