    Default Mud control

I've read on here about using tarp material under the decking for mud control. Is this as simple as it sounds and does it work good? I always make stuff way more complicated in my head than it needs to be.

I've tried about every thing known to man.

I use flat sheets of racecar plastic riveted to the underside of the deck in a curved fashion. Then I spray it with WD-40.

I once tried this brown teflon sheet stuff you get at gourmet cooking stores. It worked great, until it started ripping.

If you've got the money, I'd buy some 1/16-1/8" thick teflon sheeting. Its got about the best frictional properties of any material out there.

graphite paint from John Deere store. It's flat black/dark grey in color, just lightly scuff aluminum before spaying, dries in minutes.

tarps seem like a big fire hazard to me... they shouldn't be allowed.

Piece of a cheap blue tarp doubled up and fastened to the
underside of the deck works amazing.

Been using marvels mystery oil in a spray bottle. After we unload the car we mist it under the decking. It smells really strong for a while too. You can knock it off but tapping the decking or just using a water hose.
