Jay D ickens Clients Turn Up the Heat

Aberdeen, MS (05/13/14) - With the dog days of summer rapidly approaching Jay D ickens Racing Engines (JDRE) clients are turning up the heat with wins from coast to coast.

Haughton, Louisiana's Ray Moore broke into victory lane for the first time in 2014 on May 10th at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) after overcoming a great battle with fellow Jay D ickens customer, Bub McCool, to score the $2,000 victory in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil event. JDRE clients Kyle Beard and Tommy Surrett rounded out the top four.

Neil Baggett has been on fire in weekly racing series action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). In fact he is undefeated in weekly competition at the 3/8 mile oval. He powered his #21 Triple A Diesel/Barry Wright/Jay D ickens Super Late Model to his third and fourth wins of the year on April 5th and May 10th.

Chad Thrash claimed his first career victory with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) on May 3rd at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). He rocketed from the ninth starting spot to score the win in his #1c Rocket/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Derek Fisher picked up where he left off in 2014 by winning the Super Late Model feature in the season opener at 191 Speedway (Campton, Kentucky) on May 3rd.

Bloomington, Indiana's Shelby Miles powered his Jay D ickens #76 Super Late Model to the feature win at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on May 3rd.

Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) found Bryan Barber topping a talented field of Modifieds to score the victory on May 3rd in his Bandit Chassis/JDRE entry.

California's Tony Toste has enjoyed a great start to the 2014 season with a pair of wins. On April 12th Toste used Jay D ickens power to charge from the eighth starting spot to the victory at Bakersfield Speedway (Bakersfield, California) in his Toste Construction #91t Super Late Model. He raced to another feature win on May 3rd at Santa Maria Speedway (Santa Maria, California).

David Breazeale powered the #K3 Randy Thompson Motorsports/Mastersbilt/ JDRE Super Late Model to the $2,500 victory with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) on April 12th at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). He led a parade of seven JDRE clients across the finish line. Breazeale added another $2,500 MSCCS victory on April 26th as the tour made its debut at St. Tammany Raceway (Lacombe, Louisiana).

Tony Silvestri conquered the Street Stock division on April 26th at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with JDRE power.

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer, John Gill, from Mitchell Indiana claimed the Super Late Model win at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on April 12th in his familiar #75 Super Late Model.
