Pro Power Racing Surpasses 50 Win Mark in 2014 with Big April

Sullivan, Wisconsin (05/09/14) - An epically busy month of April found Pro Power Racing propelling its customers to victories from coast to coast as the company surpassed the 50 win mark on the season.

Pro Power clients in the Super Late Model ranks enjoyed a stellar month with Oakwood, Illinois driver, Bobby Pierce leading a spectacular charge. The young phenom rattled off five wins during the month including a $10,000 triumph in the Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) and a $5,000 UMP Nationals win at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio), which made him the youngest driver to ever win a Super Late Model event at the famed oval. His success boiled into early May as well, where he opened the month with the biggest win of his career, a $12,000 triumph with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Macon Speedway (Macon, Illinois) on May 1st. His 2014 win total sits at eight.

Other notable wins in the division for the month of April included Modified ace, Rodney Sanders, racing to the first Super Late Model win of his career at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska), and Billy Moyer Jr. bagging a couple of victories including a career-best tying effort with a $10,000 triumph at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway (Calvert City, Kentucky) in the inaugural Bluegrass Nationals. Other racers finding victory lane included Chris Simpson, Ryan Unzicker, Randy Korte (3 wins), Ricky Elliott, Chuck Harper, Garrett Alberson, Ryan Little (2 wins), Brian Shirley (2 wins), Denny Woodworth, Michael Kloos, Joel Callahan, and Colby Springsteen.

Kyle Leduc continued his dominance in Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) action with a pair of wins at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park (Lake Elsinore, California) in late April in his Pro Power Racing #99 Monster Energy Pro 4WD truck. The victories pushed his 2014 win tally to three.

The Open Wheel Modified ranks were not immune to the stronghold from Pro Power Racing. Bryan Rowland from Woodward, Oklahoma raced to his first United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) win on April 12th at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma), while Joey Moriarty represented in the West with a Championship Dirt Motorsports win at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona). Ryan Thomas, Michael England (2 wins), and Chris Meadows all added to the win column as well.
