    Default wheel bearing spacers

    Does anybody have problems keeping wheel bearing spacers tight.my RF gets play in it about everyweek. I have .010 crush fit on them.Wheel spacer stays the same length but i have to retorque every week.

    did you set the bearing spacer when the bearings were dry? what are you using to lock the spindle nut?

    Yes i set them dry. There is a keyed washer that has 2 bolts that lock it aftertightening. Once they are torqued they feel great but after the race the hubhas Play in it again. Spacer length never changes.

    The spacer should prevent them from tightening up. You apparently have the opposite problem. It's probably far fetched but are the bearing races seated all the way in the hubs?

    maybe the threads are coming out of the spindle nut? Try a different spindle nut, and double check the races like Jet said
