    Default brinn question

when starting in low gear, are you supposed to ride the clutch pedal until its time to shift into high? On mine as soon as i lift off the pedal its automatically in neutral. I thought that at a certain RPM it would be engaged.

You have to keep the pedal pushed down until you are ready to go to high gear. That is what keeps the clutch pack engaged. And once in high gear the clutch pedal does nothing so when you come into the pits you have to shift back to low gear and use clutch pedal to pull the car. If you forget and leave it in high gear you might run into the trailer or such.
