Default 3100# Metric car, loose in and loose out

Spring rates;LF 800. RF 700LR 250. RR 225. 180 pounds of bite. 52% left side. All stock suspension. It is pretty fast and fairly competitive, but is loose on corner entry, either on or off the gas. I am driving it pretty smoothly, not pitching it in. The problem is not the brakes. It is also a little loose on corner exit, but not real bad.Should I try stiffing the front springs 100 pounds? Or softening the rear springs a bit, or something else?

44% rear weight. That is the best I have been able to get so far under our strict rules.

Put a 900 on the RF.
Keep the 180 bite to start; thats close for the poor rear%.
If possible add spacer to the RF if still loose.

Is the rear end locked up or open ??

    Your wheel weights are:
    LF - 840 RF - 896
    LR - 772 RR - 592

I'd lower your bite down to 30lb or less and put LR-200, RR-175 springs in it.

This should help you getting into the corner. You're only going to be able to get so much grip coming off with that light a rear weight.

If you can move any weight, move it over to the right, too.

It has been my experience, over the last 25 years, that stock clip cars like a 2-300 pound split across the front. I would first try a 900 on the LF.

Also, metric cars have a high rear roll center and require more spring split. I generally have started with a 300 on the LR to offset the low rear weight %.
