    Default VCS this Sunday! INAUGURAL KIM HENDERSON MEMORIAL. $4,000 TO WIN/$225 TO START.

    The Inaugural Kim Henderson Memorial Race featuring The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series. 40 laps, $4,000 to win, $225 to start. Also on the card: DIRTcar Stock Cars, and DIRTcar Factory Stocks. General Admission: $18 for 16 years and older, $10 for Active Duty Military with I.D. and $12 for 11-15 years of age. Children 10 and under are FREE when accompanied paying adult.

    Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Memorial Day Weekend Trifecta May 23, 24, 25

    The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will return to action in the near with the tour’s first ever Memorial Day Weekend Trifecta, featuring three straight nights of racing, all in the Land of Lincoln in the state of Illinois. The weekend begins on Friday May 23 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL with a $1,500 to win, followed by a trip on Saturday May 24 to Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL for the inaugural Gary Cook, Jr. Memorial, paying $2,064 to win. The weekend will conclude on Sunday May 25 at Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, IL for the first ever Kim Henderson Memorial, paying $4,000 to win.

    The VCS event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $4,000 to win/$225 to start 1st Annual Kim Henderson Memorial A-Main event. $100 for Quick Qualifier from the Henderson family, PLUS another $100 from Quickcar.com for Quick Qualifier making it $200 to the quickest qualifying modified driver. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Vermilion County Speedway on Sunday May 25 will be the track’s UMP Street Stock and Pure Stock/Factory Stock divisions.

    Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Vermilion County Speedway on Sunday May 25 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m. and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 5:45 p.m. with practice laps set for 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing. All times are Central Time. .

    Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series My 25 Vermilion County Speedway Inaugural Kim Henderson Memorial A-Main Payout: 1st- $4,000*, 2nd- $1,800, 3rd- $900, 4th- $650, 5th- $600, 6th- $550, 7th- $500, 8th- $450, 9th- $400, 10th- $375, 11th- $350, 12th- $325, 13th- $300, 14th- $250, 15th through 22nd- $225 to start

    VCS has added a 20 lap non-qualifiers race for this Sunday, May 25th for the top 20 non-qualifiers who just miss the field for the "Inaugural Kim Henderson Memorial". This will allow all 20 drivers a second chance at UMP points for the evening and an additional chance at prize money. The 20 lap race will pay a minimum of $750 to win and $100 to start the race. Any race fans and supporters still wishing to become lap sponsors will be able to reserve a lap for $50 for this added race that will be referred to as the “Francis Hathaway Tribute," in memory of this lifelong, dedicated VCS race fan.

    In addition, all patrons need to visit the souvenir area and stop by the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Maxima Racing Oil Vending Area and pick up the official 2014 series t-shirt. Also, bring the children out and let them register to win a FREE bicycle courtesy of Tennessee RV Sales and Service and also pick up a FREE coloring book featuring drivers of the tour, both free of charge.

    Camping will be allowed on the fairgrounds facility, however the speedway does not have access to any power outlets and campers must be aware that they will be subject to charges when using a fairgrounds power source.

    Ready for VCS to roar to life on Sunday. Going to be a great show as Kim was a great person in are sport. Would like to know if we could get a drivers list together. I see no post on this guys lets get it going. I for one hope that Chad Kinder will be there as he is always good at VCS. If anyone knows anything about who is coming please post thanks.
