Dale McDowell Superb in Spring Nationals Series Stop at Boyd’s Speedway!

RINGGOLD, GA (May 23, 2014)—Dale McDowell picked up his third-career Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Series victory on Friday Night May 23rd at Boyd’s Speedway in dominating fashion. McDowell drove the Team Dillon Racing, Cometic Gaskets, Klotz Lubricants, Big Dog Motorsports, Ferris Commercial Mowers and WTW Enterprises sponsored E.C.R. powered Warrior Race Car Impala SS to the $4,000 payday, his second this season. McDowell’s previous victory came on May 8th at Duck River Raceway Park.

McDowell was the fastest car in FK Rod Ends Time Trials with a 13.072 seconds, besting a series-record car count (Spring and Southern Nationals Series) of 53 entries representing eight states. Heat Race Winners were Skip Arp, Todd Morrow, Ivedent Lloyd Jr. and Michael Chilton. Jamie Perry won the Last Chance Race.
