    Default 06' GRT chassis

Just bought a rolling chassis for my deployed son who gets out of the service in a few weeks. I keep hearing a "Black" or some other type spindle, how can I tell what I have? I know the history of the frame and its had a lot of success.
He's been very fast in other types of racing and I want him to succeed in crate.

I have nothing to provide for your answer but wanted to comment on what a great gesture it is to hear you buying a car for your son who has served us! I hope for his safe return and wish you guys the best of luck!

Black GRT spindles are in the 10.5 to 11.5 tall range while the GRT gray spindles are in 8.5 9.5 inch tall range. Sorry for not having an exact height but I am going from memory. Hope it helps

May be worth while to get this book written by Joe Garrison of GRT. Has a lot of good info:
