    Default Pinto wheel stud options?

Anyone have an alternative for the 1/2 20 wheels studs for a pinto instead of the ARP 5 for 76.00? Thanks, Leon

stock from advanced auto or auto zone is all we ever run. take an old one with you to make sure you get the correct spline size. $ 1.99 each. there are at least two sizes of splines. I got one for a 1974 Pinto and it was too small. Had to use the one from a 1978 Pinto. This was for the rear axle.

Moroso is another option if you want something better than stock.

I use studs from pep boys on the rear (mustang 7.5"), mine have -290- stamped on the back them. Knurl fits perfect, no drilling required. May work for you.

We run the heavy 5/8 coarse used commonly on dirt cars, with 1 inch nuts..
