    Default Bert Tire Machine

    Has anyone seen the Bert Tire machine?
    Seen it at the PRI show but can't find a dealer that sells it, wanting more information thanks

    I've never used one but I think it's a bit pricey for something I've never struggled with other than some extra elbow grease. Here's a place that sells them.

    I think hes talking about the tire prep machine.. I saw one at the motorsports show last winter.. Really heavy piece of equipment.. And very pricey too.. I wouldn't want one since I use mine at the track.. I haven't seen anymore selling them.. Do they even list them of Bert's webpage??

    It's useless to me, junk. The way it sipes the tire I wouldn't tolerate.

    Neat little machine. May take a while but imagine having that set up in a trailer. Set the tire on it and go make your chassis adjustments while it grinds.

    It doesn't grind proper. The disk is going the wrong way. You should be grinding off the attacking edge of the tread block to keep the edges sharp. That includes the lead edge as well as the yaw edge.
