    Default metric sport mod

we have a chance to get in to a metric a mod that we could convert fairly cheaply to a northern sport mod. my question is, is it worth it? ive been told the metric car is 5'' shorter across the front than a chevelle, and with the ability to use deep off-sets it might be at a disadvantage. now after saying this our plan was to slap a nice body on it run it and try to sell it to someone looking to get it if i get it for what i think i can it leaves lots of room for profit so our next car can be a much newer chevelle or impalla. so after all that, can a metric northern sport mod compete against its chevelle, impalla counter parts?

at the track we run at we have metrics in both sport mod and a mod classes and they all have won last season so yes they can be competitive. I will say that all the cars are on nova lowers. I would not personally run a metric without novas on the car.
