    Default Front end alignment ?

    05 GRT with black spindles

I am doing my caster/camber after a wreck that broke/bent most of the RF suspension pieces. I have borrowed a set of turn plates and while doing the caster the wheel will turn to the right 20% but when you go to turn left it will only go to about 10% past straight...is this normal? If not, what is the best way to correct it?

I can not say that this did not do this before as I have never used turn plates with the degree of turn on it.

    ~Thanks~

Typically late models will turn way further to the right than the left.

Generally speaking you center the rack, and the manuf gives you a basic number for the RF tie rod. Some others will make it so the tire almost hits the header when turned to the right, and set the tie rod at that length.

Either way though I'd sure think you should be able to turn 20 deg to the left, probably not much more than that though.

If you do need to fix this issue, you'll just have to shorten the RF tie rod, and lengthen the LF.
