    Default impala chassis

    what year of car do i need to look for and what other cars are on the same chassis. is a capri classic the same as an impala? they both are ugly and boxy. looking to use on a mod for a core

    1978 to 1990 Impala and Caprice are identical. Watch the wheel bolt pattern though. Some had 5 on 5 bolt pattern and those also had 12" rotors and a taller spindle. The 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern was much more common which has a 11" rotor.

    There are Buick, Olds, and Pontiac versions as well but I don't know those off the top of my head.

    1977-1996 GM B-Body:
    Chevrolet Caprice, Impala SS / Buick Roadmaster, LeSabre / Pontiac Bonneville, Catalina

    Not all these cars were built from 77 to 96, but it will get you close.

    werent the buicks and pontiacs strut cars in the 90's?
