Default Disk brakes on rear 7.5....

I know it has prolly been talked about numerous times but I can't find it. I have a spare rear 7.5 that I want to convert over to disk. Any good setups using stock parts maybe from something other than a mustang.??????

Someone on here was selling disc brake brackets to use Escort calipers. It was Old Rob (Power by ACE) or one of those guys. I think if you do some looking in the archives here you will find it. Car62 would probably remember. He's younger than me and his mind hasn't turned to mush like mine.

i made my own brackets, had to tap calipers for 3/8-24 instead of using banjo fitting, had to go to aftermarket 7/8 bore wilwood tandem master that would bolt into stock location, and then we still had no rear brakes until we plugged 1 caliper or the other, apparently 7/8 isnt big enough for those monster calipers...i will never do that conversion again

I used a set of Ford Thunderbird Turbo front rotors. Bought a set of metric weld-on brackets and metric calipers. You will need to trim out the brackets where they weld to the axle just a little. They worked great with no problems.
