    Default Fuel consumption

Has anyone on here ever calculated about how many gallons or pounds per hour a 2.3 ford is consuming ehile racing?

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1 Cor 9:24

There is way too many variables to come up with a number for that. RPM, Gearing, compression ratio, head work, timing, carb, header, intake, I can keep going but it's a waste of time.

I run a 10 lap heat & 15 lap feature on a 1/4 mile dirt track with a mild built 2.3L and never have used more than 2 gallons a nite.

5 hot laps, 6 lap heat(about 10 laps with pace laps and caution), 20 lap feature - 3/8 mile track, 2.3 Hydrolic head, 8000 rpm, Holley 500, use at least 5-5.5 gallons a night, Shell 87 octane pump gas. No additives, just regular pump gas.
