    Hope for Harlie Benefit Next for Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Cedar Ridge on July 26

    Glasgow, KY-July 13, 2014- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series concludes the month of July as the tour will visit Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY on Saturday July 26 for the 2nd Annual Hope for Harlie Benefit race. The event will be 30 laps in length, paying $1,500 to win and $200 to start.

    The Hope for Harlie event at Cedar Ridge Speedway is a benefit event to help raise money for a special eight-year old young lady who is battling cancer. There will be a special 50/50 ticket raffle and Hope for Harlie t-shirts will also be available at this event, with all proceeds going to help offset medical expenses for Ms. Harlie. Also, there will be bicycle giveaways and horse rides for the children and helium balloons for children as well.

    The trip for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series to Cedar Ridge Speedway will be the tour’s third visit to the track that hosted its first series events in 2013, with Will Krup of Mount Carmel, IN and Jimmy Payne of Glasgow, KY taking wins in the tour’s prior visits to Cedar Ridge Speedway. Payne is the defending champion of the Hope for Harlie Benefit race.

    The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will compete Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY on Saturday July 26. The event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start Hope for Harlie A-Main contest. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday July 26 will be track’s E-Mod, Street Stock, Cruiser, Rusty Bolt, and Mini Stock divisions.

    Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday July 26 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m., with practice starting immediately following the drivers meeting, followed by time trials at 7:00 p.m., with green flag racing immediately following time trials. All times listed are Central Time. Ticket prices for the event at Cedar Ridge Speedway in the general admission area will be $10 for adults, children ages 6 to 12 is $2, and children ages 5 and under are free, while a pit pass will be $30.

    Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series July 26 2nd Annual Hope for Harlie A-Main Payout: 1st- $1,500, 2nd- $750, 3rd- $600, 4th- $550, 5th- $500, 6th- $450, 7th- $400, 8th- $350, 9th- $325, 10th- $300, 11th- $275, 12th- $250, 13th- $230, 14th- $220, 15th through 22nd- $200 to start.

    In addition, all patrons need to visit the souvenir area and stop by the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Maxima Racing Oil Vending Area and pick up the official 2014 series t-shirt. Also, bring the children out and let them register to win a FREE bicycle courtesy of Tennessee RV Sales and Service and also pick up a FREE coloring book featuring drivers of the tour.
