Hail to the Kings of Kansas City modified racing realms.

Brad Smith repeats his winning ways for two consecutive years with a strong run for the b-mod crown. Starting on the front row Smith took over the lead after the early leader spun out in front of the field. Smith never looked back as he went on to win his belt of dominance.

Stormy Scott looked like he was in for a night of watching someone else be the king as he spun out early in the race and had to go to the back of the pack. Give him credit as he worked his way back into contention and made the pass on Jim Moody then opened up a sizable lead for the win.
One of the biggest wrecks I have seen in modified racing helped Scott gain several spots back, at least half of the field was involved in the accident and took out several of the front runners.

Thanks to Dennis Shroud and the Valley crew for another great King of Kansas City event. Enjoy.
