    Default chevelle stub softer rf or stiffer on slick

    Just curious to see what some are doing.

    have used 700 650 and 600 lbs rf springs softer is better on slick will be down to 550 this week tracks are getting slicker as summer goes on

    Changing spring rates can be difficult to calculate for some people. Every race car, even if built identical, has its own unique rate that is required. Its all about balance. Once balanced, I prefer to add ballast to the right side of the chassis. That is just my preference. I have had great results doing this.
