Chassis Help Please
Old under rail clamped Pierce Car.
Run on a 1/4 mile medium to high bank track, gets black and slick.
Car has a medium push on entry, heavy rear brake to turn.
Good balance through turn, a little loose off turn, right rear tire substantially hotter than the left.
Springs LF 650 RF 600 LR225 RR200
Shocks LF slick track Right tie down LR9-2 RR 93
Weight with 20 gal fuel-no driver=2300 lbs
LS 51.6% Rear 57.4% 30lb L.R. Bite
short panhand bar
4 bar left side
Z link RT with springs on top

First thing I would do is raise the LR bite to about 75-80 and try it.
Bill W. and Dr. Bob......who could have known.

Fix your small push on entry FIRST, Why would you put a tie down on the RF when it's black slick?

if its tight on entry and loose off you could swap your front springs, increase lr bite and with the rr getting overly hot take out some panhard bar rake (helped on ours) just some thoughts good luck

I consulted for a team that had a '06 Pierce 4/4 car. We ran a pair of 600's in the front. That will loosen your entry up, and slightly tighten your exit. Fifty lb spring changes are small changes on stock front ends.

Rearend is to far to the left 51.6 is low should be 52.6 to 53 %%
-
Do you have weight on the right side of the car
-
check you rear shock angles 15 degrees both side , if you get that your left side % should be 52.2 or52.3 sounds like the rear end is to far to the left, if you have a quick change your short bar should be 14 3/4 to 15 in (real close).i wouldnt be afraid of running more left rear.

4 bar the right side..leave the spring on top off the housing(better roll steer on entry)
lose the short panhard,use a 18"to19" jbar 5.5" split ( more predictable,more sidebite,easier to drive)
75lbs lr bite ( clamp cars are dumping there wedge the second you lift making them tight in anyway)

NO WEIGHT ON RT SIDEOF CAR. driver only weighs 140lb. will check rear side to side tonight.
thanks for your help. any body else ?

Had same exact issue here and going from 40lb lr bite to 65 made my car awewome!

We ran 60 in the example above. Also, ran LU bar in top hole for more drive off.
