    Default Bert Transmission Rebuild Question

Rebuilding a bert trans, the clutch spacer was pretty chewed up so I am replacing it, the old spacer came off hard, do I need to press new one on? Seems like it is going on pretty tough and looking like the splines will be cutting themselves in on aluminum. I assume this keeps the aluminum from spinning but not for sure. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes press a new one on, you are correct about the spines cutting themselves in.
