With last Friday's Bulling Bash falling victim to rain, the FUEL Racing Series heads back to Rolling Thunder this Friday night in hopes of cooperating weather. The $3000 to win FUEL race headlines the card as the championship chase heats up in the CT525 powered division. Only 14 points separate current leader Ross Bailes and 4 time race winner Brett Hamm. The 40 Lap $3000 to win event will be the 9th race of the season for the 1st year series. A Special Thanks goes to Rolling Thunder event partners Klotz Synthetics, Riverside Building Supply, and MCR Race Cars & Parts. In addition to the FUEL event, Rolling Thunder also has an exciting list of support division races on the agenda. The SECA (South Eastern Crate Association) late models will be competing in a $1000 to win event! A $500 to win Open Wheel Modified race and a $400 to win Mini Sprint race are on the schedule as well. Gates are set to open at 5PM with the Drivers Meeting scheduled for 6:30PM.
