Default FUEL Racing Series Looks Ahead To 2015

With its 2014 season winding down, FUEL Racing Series officials are hard at work in preparation for the 2015 campaign. After establishing itself in its inaugural season, the series looks to grow next year as more teams continue to take a stronger look at the CT525 engine package. To this point, FUEL has already received commitments from 5 different tracks for 2015 events. In addition, FUEL has just finished finalizing another CT525 engine promotional package which will be released very soon! "We still have a few races to complete for 2014 but the time to start planning 2015 is now", stated FUEL's Jason Atkins. "We've been blessed to have the support of numerous drivers, tracks, and marketing partners. People sometimes fail to realize that is a brand new series with a brand new engine package. Those tracks and drivers that supported FUEL have paved the way for future growth and opportunity. With that being said, we are pleased to know that we are already planning for next year." "In what continues to be a challenging environment, FUEL has done an admirable job of introducing their series", explained City Chevrolet Parts Manager Chris Knight. "We are on track to exceed our 2014 CT525 sales projections and we feel that growth can continue now that the series has established itself. The drivers and tracks that supported FUEL in 2014 are greatly appreciated and commended. Based on the phone calls we receive and engine information that has been requested, there continues to be considerable interest in the engine and this series. FUEL's commitment to 2015 is just one indication of their stability and will provide inquiring teams the confidence needed to embrace the program. We at City Chevrolet Performance Parts are proud to support this effort and we look forward to a continued partnership with FUEL again in 2015!" While the series continues to have open discussion with numerous other tracks, we can inform everyone that the following tracks have already agreed to host a FUEL event on one or more occasions in 2015: Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, SC), Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, NC), Friendship Speedway (Elkin, NC), Harris Speedway (Rutherfordton, NC), and Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, VA). It's great to see the FUEL Series already having commitements from tracks for the 2015 season! It's been some great racing throughout the season with the CT525 engines and it's only going to get better.
