    Yantz Family to Promote Richmond Raceway Beginning in 2015

    Richmond, KY- August 24, 2014- After being away from the game for one season, the trio of Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are set to return to the promotional helm of a dirt track. The trio will be the promoters of Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY beginning in 2015.

    “We want to carry on the long and storied tradition great dirt track racing at Richmond Raceway”, stated co-promoter Larry Yantz. “We want to thank Bobby Reed for giving us the opportunity to promote the track. We also want to thank current track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett for all their hard work during their tenure as the track promoters and want to build on their efforts”, added Larry Yantz.

    The current plan of action for the upcoming 2015 racing season at Richmond Raceway is to kick off the race season with a two-day racing program in early April and conclude the racing season with a two-day racing program in early October. The Yantz’s also plan to carry on the track’s premier event, the Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge for Super Late Models.

    The race night for Richmond Raceway in 2015 will continue to be the traditional Saturday slot on the calendar. The track plans to run Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Modifieds, and Sportsman as the track’s four weekly divisions of competition.

    Weekly crate racing would draw some cars from Southern Indiana on nights that Brownstown is off IF you have the right rules package. Meaning open up the tire and shock rule so that guys don't have to buy tires and shocks just to run at your track. We'd love to come race with you guys.
