ear buds
I have not so good hearing. What do you guys think are the best/most clear sounding ear buds? I'm going to use the Fuze custom ear system, but I'm just wondering if there are ear buds that are worth spending more money on than the cheep ones.

I liked the ear fuze ones. I might recomment finding some better ear buds and using the ear fuze moldings. People haven't had much life out of the ear buds that come from ear fuze.

Ear buds
How about the helmet mounted speakers? Anybody have good/bad experience with them?
-
I put the ear fuze molds on my iPhone ear buds... Huge difference in sound quality. You'll have to rough them up to get the molds to stick, though.
-
I went to a local ear Dr, they molded me a custom set up. Sound quality is really good (I use them for music at times also), they are also plenty loud too. I usually run my raceiver at 1/2 vol. I believe it was around 100-130 for them, but well worth it

Etymotic. I have an older set of these style that I have had for 4 years. I have just about ripped the cord out of one of the buds, the cats chewed the cord, and still work. Plus they double as ear plugs.
MC5 (cheapest).

DO NOT buy Fuze ear buds... they are way overpriced junk, the their customer service SUCKS...! I will never buy Fuze anything ever again... I had hell trying to even get them to answer any emails or phone calls, and six months later I finally got the replacement foam donuts I begged for, then the same night one of the buds just fell apart while in my ear during racing... ( pure junk...! Do what the others abouve recommend... buy pretty good mp3 player style stereo buds, and then buy the Radians Custom Molded Earplugs kit from Amazon for $11.61 with free shipping, and mold your own...
