shock mounting help.

This is my first year running a late model 07 warrior and I've noticed that my rear suspension is some what different like my left rear shocks are mounted in front of the rear end and most has there behind the rear end what's the advantages of either way? It's a 4 bar car.

Is it a coilover (spring/shock combo) or just a shock?

Does it have frame mounts for the coilover behind the axle? If not I highly doubt it's an' 07.

Yes its an 07 warrior we have the coil over shock in front of the axle but if I move it to the rear will it just make more rear steer?
