Winchester’s Rebel 40 event in 2013 produced 22 super late model teams in attendance and the #29 Jason Welshan of Maryville, Tn. drove his way to victory lane to collect the $3000 victory. Super Late Models will group qualify and run heat races. Number of groups will be based on car count and to determine the number of cars locked in on time from each group will also be based on car count, the remaining cars will run heat races to determine starting position for the “Rebel 40” feature event.There will be a $100 entry fee for the super late models, those that fail to make the feature will receive half their entry fee back. Super Late Model Tire rule: Front tires Open: Rear tires one (1) hardness tire optional, American Racer 56 -48, Hoosier 1600 -1350, Crate 55, Crate 21 or LM-40. All tires must have number and identification on them, No chemicals allowed, tire will be checked with durometer at any timeAlong with the super late models racing, will also be: Modified Stocks $400 To-Win with over 12 Cars, Ministock $400 To-Win with Over 15 Cars, Two Barrel/Crate $800 To-Win with Over 16 Cars ** Street Stock $300 To-Win with Over 10 Cars, Plus Vintage Dwarf Cars.Rule amendment for Modified Streets Rule for Oct.4th Rebel 40 Event: Weight 3200lbs. Add 100 lbs for HM 500 , AR 500 Tires. 50lbs for Oversize Valves,75lbs, For Small Clutch, 50lbs, For Non- Stock type trail arms.On Saturday October 4th, 2014 action will get underway with gates opening at 3 pm, cars entering to race must be entered by 6 pm. Drivers meeting will take place at 6 pm and hot laps and racing will follow after the drivers meeting.Admission for Saturday’s event will be $15 for General Admission Kids 6-12 $5 5 and Under will be Free and Pit Admission will be $30, Kids 6-12 $5 5 and Under will be Free.Winchester Speedway is located at 200 Fairgrounds Street Winchester, TN.
