    Default Engine stalled

We got a different engine and it has a little more hp and about the same torque as other engine but the other night, driver got on brakes and engine died. He thinks engine is bogging when on the brakes. Now this engine is on gas while the other engine was alky. I guess we could increase idle or is there something else to look for, engine idles fine. Thanks for any suggestions.

I guess driver needs to use less brake, have a good one.

My guess would be new engine has a lighter rotating mass. Might try less aggressive pads on rear, if turning idle up doesn't work.

They just installed some new rear pads this week, I'm not sure how aggressive they are but we will see how it goes tonight. Thanks

Not sure which one did the job but the increasing the rpm idle and putting new rear pads on did the trick. No problems last night, we got 3rd in that car and won in the other car. Thanks for the help.
