    Yantz Family to Host Meet, Greet, and Eat with Racers and Fans at Richmond Raceway November 8

    Richmond, KY- October 9, 2014- The historic Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY will have new promoters in 2014 in the form of Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz and they would like to invite everyone out for a meet, greet, and eat on Saturday afternoon November 8 at 2:00 p.m.

    The Yantz family will be having a cookout to meet and greet with all the area race fans and race teams as a way of introducing themselves to everyone and to talk about the upcoming 2015 racing season. This is event is FREE to everyone and everyone is invited to attend. All those who attend need to bring their own chair. This event will take place rain or shine, as if it does rain, all activities will take place in the hanger at the entrance to the pit area. Also, all 2014 Richmond Raceway employees are invited to attend.

    The Yantz family wants to talk to the race fans and race teams from the area about the 2015 race season and get their ideas and feedback. Also, everyone is invited to look around at some of the improvements already in place for next season and to discuss more improvements that will be made prior to the racing season getting started in 2015. Along with this, there will also be a rules meeting for the drivers to discuss the track’s rules package in each division for the 2015 racing season as well.

    Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are former promoters at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY and are very well respected in the dirt track racing community among fans and racers alike and look forward to carrying on the rich tradition of dirt track racing excitement at Richmond Raceway.

    The current plan of action for the upcoming 2015 racing season at Richmond Raceway is to kick off the race season with a two-day racing program in early April and conclude the racing season with a two-day racing program in early October. The Yantz’s also plan to carry on the track’s premier event, the Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge for Super Late Models.

    The race night for Richmond Raceway in 2015 will continue to be the traditional Saturday slot on the calendar. The track plans to run Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Modifieds, and Sportsman as the track’s four weekly divisions of competition.
