imca 604 rebuild
Who is the go to person or company that rebuilds the 604. I know there are tons of cratelate rebuilders out there but looking for someone who has a winning history doing it for a imca modified?
-
They can be freshened and rebuilt but only by a certified rebuilder. there is a bunch of good ones all over the US

Nobody can rebuilt a crate for IMCA. They can only be repaired.
-
So if spinning a bearing occurs then what?
-
You can have it repaired but only by an authorized repair center and they have to clear it with imca and provide proof of damage to motor and feasibility of repair.
-
So anything that fails on the engine you're screwed and just need to buy another one correct?

So what's your definition then Stock car? Because those two words are Synonyms of each other. So essentially we were saying the same thing but you're going about an answer like a jacka$$. Enlighten us more what can be done since you seem to know more about this than anyone.

Repair=fix whats broken and nothing more.
Rebuild=new parts whether needed or not bearings rings ect blueprinting everything to max spec, valve job ect.
Not even close to the same thing.
