    Default Motor Guys Here's a Question Concerning Crank To Rod WT To Piston Wt

    Only reason I ask is because I just don't know, heres what I got I picked up a callies mangun crank from a friend that changed directions in his build witch if I seen right is a little lighter than the dragon slayer,so would I use a lighter rod and piston ?, its a 4.00 crank sbc pistons and rods haven't been purschased yet but was looking at the callies xl and a cp piston, I
    motor will be in dirt car on two barrel,thanks for any and all info

    2 bbl application id opt for light as possible. Get your parts and send that crank back to Callie's and have them do the xl no drill balance on that magnum crank. Cp makes a decent piston but there are better options for ultralight high rigidity pistons from BME.
