    Hello Rocket5353,

Other than being able to move 30+ pounds of weight around on the racecar , another very important advantage is our Lithium battery has no voltage sag.

An MSD 6AL-2 draws 8.1 amps at 9000 rpm or .9 amp per thousand RPM. Lead acid batteries have so much voltage sag during a short 20-30 minute feature race engine builders are finding ignition fluctuation and unreliable spark leading to engine knock and possible damage. This is why some builders are now suggesting running an alternator on their engines. Our battery will reliably power that same engine at a constant 9000 rpm for 2.5 hours.

Long life and reliability are another huge benefit of our Lithium product..

The life expectancy of the GO Lithium Battery is gauged by depth of discharge. Meaning, if a team used 100% of its reserve power it will last for 2000 charge cycles. In reality, when used in a race car running a 6al or HEI ignition the depth of discharge will be under 50% resulting in a much longer life span or 17,500 Charge Cycles.
