    Spring Nationals and Southern Nationals Series Release Very Busy Slate of Events for 2015!!!

    BRASSTOWN, NC (December 1, 2014) - Promoter Ray Cook of the Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series by Schaeffer's Oil and the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series by Old Man's Garage is pleased to release the 2015 versions of what will be a busy season for both tours.

    The third-year Spring Nationals Series will open up the 2015 campaign with a double-header at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. on Friday & Saturday March 13 & 14 during the track's second running of the 'Tennessee Tip-Off Classic' weekend. On Friday Night March 13th the Spring Nat's Late Models will take to the track for a $5,000-to-win event while taking back to the track for Saturday Night's weekend finale paying $10,000-to-win.

    The tour will then move to Kentucky for the next three events on Thursday through Saturday April 2-4 during Easter Weekend to 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City and Florence Speedway in Union for the 39th Annual Spring 50 respectively.

    Two new tracks will go on the Spring Nationals Series schedule on April 17/18 as the tour ventures to Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway on Friday paying $6,000-to-win and a trip to Golden Isles (Ga.) Speedway on Saturday for a $10,000-to-win event.

    On Friday May 1 there series still has a TBA date in progress while the series will roll into Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway for a first-ever appearance on Saturday Night May 2 paying $6,000-to-win.

    The series will close up the 2015 season with a triple-header of racing at Boyd's (Ga.) Speedway on Friday May 22, Dixie (Ga.) Speedway on Saturday May 23 and a new track to the schedule, Rome (Ga.) Speedway on Sunday Night May 24th for the finale event of the 12-race schedule.

    The 11th season of the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals Series presented by Old Man's Garage will only see two changes with a venue change for the eighth points race and a purse change for the final event. On Thursday Night July 30th the series will make it's fourth-ever appearance to the Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC paying $3,500-to-win. It will mark the first series visit since 2007 to the Western North Carolina track. At Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday Night August 1st the series will join in with the track's 50th Anniversary of racing and present the series' first-ever event paying over $5,300-to-win. The 50th Anniversary race at Tazewell Speedway will pay $10,050-to-win.

    The schedule for the second-season on the Southern Nationals Bonus Series is forthcoming and will be released in the near future.

    Volunteer Speedway mentioned earlier in the year that they'd have their Spring Thaw the Bristol weekend like usual. Nothing official yet though. Will be a tough weekend now with the Lucas Oil boys in Arkansas and the Spring Nats down in Georgia.
