    Default Pro comp distributor

    Has any body on here tried the Pro comp distributor for a 2.3 L engine? There on e-bay for $70 new with free shipping. Item # 181502247257. They look nice but????

    yes I think that's the one speedway sales . I put a bronze gear on mine ,been running it for apox 4 years no problems

    The stock TFI dist is hard to beat. No timing jumping around or advance problems with it. Been running one for 4 or 5 years, 8000-8200 every week. Never a problem.

    i agree, stock TFI just cant be beat,and they can be found at most wrecking yards

    2.3L, 80's to mid 90's mustangs, rangers had the TFI IV. You can identify it easily, has module on side with a six wire plug. You only need 3 wires to run it. Get the plug & the wires, with it. Wiring diagram available in the technical section at www.powerbyace.com

    I thought I read somewhere that the module was replaced with another type. Anyone know about this? Thanks

    the old duraspark distributor, guys used the module out of an HEI distributor
    No matter how hard you try...you cant fix stupid!!!

    If you build it right...it will turn left!!!
