Thread: Info on a head

    Default Info on a head

I have came across a head that has been untouched as far as machine work. Not sure of the year but it is a closed combustion chamber. But the difference is it appears it's a little more open than the standard closed we have seen before. Anyone seen this before or have any info on this. Thank you

Does have ford stamped on it. There was something weird about the numbers on it. I'll have to check that out. I have heard that ford had some marine heads. I believe this maybe one of them. I will get back to you later. Me and my daughter are spending the day together today.

It might be off of a forklift engine. Most of them used LP, natural gas for fuel.

This was a limited run replacement head for Ford back in late 70's early 80's Very good head to run you can make really big compression #'s with this head. Too bad back east they've out lawed those heads😁
