Question Pro Stock Leaf Spring ?'s

When you are building a stock clip car, what is he best way to figure wheelbase when you don't have the a-arms and spindles mocked-up on the front? Would it be just ahead of the factory hole that is in the cross member under the oilpan or just in front of the jackbolts? It is hard to judge it because of caster, etc. Also, what is everyone's opinion as to leaf springs, if allowed would you use Chryslers instead of the Camaro length? Thanks in advance for your replies!!

My opinion , you need the lower arms installed . Left side to center of the balljoint hole , Right 1/4" back from center . That will be very close. Need rear in car also . Only other way is to find someone with a jig for what you are doing .Leaf spring , use the Chrysler
