Default The Flintstone Flyer Mike Duvall

Where would yall ranked him in the history of Dirt Late Model racing?

I'm from South Carolina, I help promote for Lancaster Super Speedway in Lancaster, SC growing up I mainly seen Duvall racing at Lancaster cause I was to young to go anywhere else no drivers license yet lol, but everytime Duvall pulled into Lancaster you would see alot of them Flintstone Flyer t-shirts and Duvall would usually leave with a solid top 3 or a win.

After collecting an astonishing 1,025 wins during his racing career, I would rank Duvall in my top 5 Late Model drivers of all time.

He's definitely right up there with his contemporaries like, Buck Simmons and Freddie Smith. Heck he has a Globe trophy and that says a lot...

Top 5-10 of all time for sure. In his day he was as tough as anyone. Too bad I didn't get to see him until he was starting to whined down.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I always wished Mitchell Duvall had taken up racing supers. Back in early, early 90's I was over Gaffney way and watched Mitchell put on a helluva show in a T&L car then get out and hot lap his dads super around the, "Big Track"! He was quick with it too.

Your right, I always seen kids around his hauler when Duvall came to Lancaster. No matter what he was doing he would stop and talk to them.
