The All Stars have supposedly been sold to Tony Stewart and a couple partners, with the goal of merging them with the Renegades. I know that one of the founders of the Renegades, Rob Hunter, bought Jean Lynch's 25% stake in the All Stars about a month ago, and Bubba announced that Tony Stewart will be there when the All Stars are (presumably not racing, I don't think he wants that sh*tstorm for sprint car racing).

I'm thinking all these rumors have some legs.

that's interesting. Seeing as Tony has fielded at least 2 full time cars in the outlaw tour for the last few years, and now he's buying into another series and sounds like he's trying to make it bigger. I don't think it'll rival or hurt the outlaws cuz that's the goal of any sprint racer is to win on the outlaw tour or win a championship. Th with all stars circuit of champions have just about always been a eastern states deal, I don't know much about the Renegade deal haven't heard much about it. This is what I like about Tony, hasn't forgot where he came from and is always putting money into sport and trying to make it stay alive.

I just wonder who he will put in Kinser's old car? I'd like to see him put Bryan Clausen in that car personally.

What I was told was the promoter wasn't paying the drivers so the Renegade series was started. I watched a few shows at Atomic/KC last year and the field of cars the Renegade series had was very good.

The stability and leadership Stewy will bring to the All Stars is a very good thing in light of the recent problems of the recent past.

As far as Clauson driving one of Stewy's WoO cars, I too would like to see Bryan in a top flight WoO sprinter and Stewart would surely provide a car capable of winning every time out. And, since Clauson was the driver of the Stewart owned USAC wingless sprinter for the past couple of seasons it would seem to be a good fit. That said, if it was going to happen this coming season it would seem we'd have heard of it by now.

Given that we are big wingless sprint car and USAC Silver Crown fans the decision by Stewy to cease his USAC operations in those 2 divisions is very sad news and those divisions will be devoid of a couple of very good teams
