What size aluminum hex tubes are people using, 5/8" or 3/4"?

I hope you all mean 5/8 heims with larger than that hex tubes. The biggest heim you could fit into a 5/8 tube would be 1/2" and that isn't going to make it very long.
The hex tubes we use are 7/8 with 5/8 heims. I thought that was pretty standard.
