    Default Brake Fluid

1/4 mile, flat, dirt, 20 lap feature, Mustang. Looking for off the shelf recommendation. I have Pep Boys, Napa, Auto Zone and Advanced Auto in my area. What are you running?

We use Advance Auto brand, been using it for a long time, never had any issues with it.

Peak brand dot 3. I only use brakes putting it on the trailer.

not sure why you would want "off the shelf" brands...i use Wilwood EXP 600+ or AP Racing Super 600
No matter how hard you try...you cant fix stupid!!!

If you build it right...it will turn left!!!

Most of the off the shelf brands you get at the parts stores aren't much good for "High Temp" like the racing type fluids but if you don't want to spend the money you can buy a decent fluid from the Ford dealer. The Ford fluid is better for higher temps than the cheap fluid.

I use prestone synthetic brake fluid, sold at any parts store.
