Default Senoia allowing competitors to race in two different divisions

Senoia Raceway announced last week at the driver’s meeting that they will allow competitors to race in two different divisions this Saturday, April 4th. Drivers will need to pay an additional fee to compete in the second division and must have a different car eligible for each of the divisions. There is also restrictions on which divisions Super Late Model and Limited Late Model drivers may compete with a second team.

“This is an experiment,” said Senoia Raceway’s Mayes Massey. “We have had drivers inquire about running two classes. We will try this weekend, make notes and then make a decision on the future.”

    April 4, 2015 only – (Trial Run)

Drivers will be allowed to race in 2 classes with the following restrictions:

    1. Driver must pay an additional fee of $25 to race in a second division. The fee must be paid at the draw room and must be paid prior to the draw closing. The draw is closed at the beginning of the driver’s meeting.

    2. Must have 2 separate cars, 1 for each class and legal for that competing class.

    3. Current Super Late Model and Limited Late Model drivers cannot compete in any classes other than Late Models (Super, Limited or Crate). These drivers are not allowed to compete in B Cadet, Hobby Stock, Mini Stock or Bomber.

    4. Senoia Raceway officials reserve the right to determine any other rule changes as needed for the decision of fairness to all competitors.

I would assume not because then that person would be considered a Limited driver who is also trying to race the B cadet division.

    Thanks,
