    Default 4spd or 5spd

    Re: mustang mini stock. Any thoughts about a 4spd being better than a 5spd? Think the 4 might be better as far as less rotating mass and possible weight difference. As long as you can get rear gear to get preferred final ratio. Just thinking out loud.

    You're thinking is on the right track. Actually, a 3-speed, with reverse, might be best. Depending on how many different track lengths you race. Needed....... reverse, low for the pit area, second/third for restarts/final high ratio on the race track. But the tranny mod would require many $$$? -Dave-

    I've always used 87-93 T5 with zero issues.
