    Default Rear tire stagger

Do most guys use tire pressure to change stagger on the rear of the car or do they use a bigger tire on the right? We are running UMP and currently the car has a 26.5 on the left and a 27.5 on the right.

Chalk marks are most often relied upon as a good method. 26.5 LR. 27.5 RR is very common. Personally I mount tires using chalk marks as reference, then measure out tire circumference to be absolute. When it comes to stagger using the least amount required to help the car rotate through the corner is the goal to aim for.

Short answer. Always measure and adjust during the week. Don't rely on changing air pressure at the track to make a change. Pressure and the sun are your friend. Don't be scared of stagger to help a car turn. Just my opinion.

tacky more stagger, slick less stagger , IF your car don't start to push with less stagger on slick and that depends on driving style
