Default RF tire rubbing the frame

IMCA metric hobby stock is rubbing the frame during counter steer. I removed some caster trying to gain more clearance but it still hits pretty bad. Good bushings aftermarket upper a-arm nothing fancy and frame is not damaged.

most of the metric cars had a centered backspace 14"x6" wheel. for racing now install a 2-3" offset 15x8" wheel on there and that is what is going to happen. unless you split the frame and remove material out, the wheel will hit.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Just behind the forward face of the frame rail, where its hitting, you cut an pie shaped wedge out of the top of the frame rail and the same thing on the bottom of rail. Now pound the forward face of the rail back to close the pie cut and weld everything back up solid. A little grinding and some paint and you cant tell it was clearanced but you gain the inch you need.

Upon further inspection, the rear lower a-arm mount had been damaged in the past. So I straightened it and things look much better now.

If you didn't do so when repairing that mount I would suggest adding some gussets to make that mount stronger. A rough track will bend that mount in stock form.
I would put the caster back into it. More caster split will help "save" the car when its loose off. Also try and work on the set-up so your not getting to the lock position counter steering. Don't worry about the rub. Eric
