Good Morning race fans! It is going to be a BEAUTIFUL spring day. Then tonight, that thunder you will hear in the air is that of race cars tearing up the track at blazing speeds here at Macon Speedway during tonight's 8th Annual Spring Fling. Racing are the Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds (track co-owner Ken Schrader IS RACING!), UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Sportsman ($400 to win/$50 to start), Midwest Big Ten UMP Street Stocks, & UMP Outlaw Hornets. In addition to the thrilling racing action, Macon Speedway's opener will have a Driver-Sponsor Appreciation Photo & Autograph Session and a CEFCU Kid's Club night. Pit gates open Saturday afternoon at 4:00, with grandstands at 5:00, and racing action takes the green at 7:00. Adult admission is now set to be the regular low price of $12, while children 11 and under get in free. Pit admission is $30 for adults and $15 for children.
