Huge POWRi Weekend with Jacksonville Friday & Macon Saturday

The weather, for now, looks promising FINALLY for some great midget racing in Central Illinois this weekend as the Lucas Oil POWRi Midgets and Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micros invade Jacksonville Speedway Friday Night and Macon Speedway Saturday Night.

Friday Night, joining the Midgets and Micros are the 305 Winged Sprints, UMP Street Stocks, and UMP Hornets. America's Baddest Bullring is SURE to put on a great show in ALL classes. It will be a BIG SHOW.

Stands open at 5 PM Friday at Jacksonville. Admission is $18 for adults, $7 for kids 11-18, Kids 10 and under Free. .

Saturday Night the excitement of the Midgets and Micros heads to a track rich in open wheel racing history, Macon Speedway.

Entering its 70th Season, Macon has seen the likes of AJ Foyt, Mario Andretti, Al Unser, Parnelli Jones, Stan Fox, Kenny Irwin, Tony Stewart, and MANY MORE race open wheel cars at thr 1/5 mule bullring. Expect plenty of wheel to wheel racing and sliders galore.


Saturday Night the 1/5 mile Macon Speedway, joining the Midgets and Micros are the Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and UMP Outlaw Hornets.


Gates open 5pm and Racing Starts 7pm General Admission is Adults $15 and Kids 11 & Under FREE

This is a big weekend of midget racing in central Illinois. We'll be there both nights.

I just kinda' wish maybe they'd cut the support classes by at least 1 class.

For those who have never witnessed the midgets at Mighty Macon Speedway it is a great show, for sure. No better place to watch top flight midgets!!
